As travelers plan their festive visits and holiday stays, this new booking engine empowers hotels to capture more direct bookings while delivering a smoother and more enjoyable reservation experience for guests.

To celebrate this meaningful launch, selected hotels and their guests are invited to participate in our special promotion campaign. Booking Engine

The new booking engine is here. This is a preview of the new booking engine. We’ve announced the launch of the hotel-facing UI a few months back. This month, we bring the changes to the guest-facing UI. You do not have to do anything because the migration is automated. Log in to the booking engine v5 extranet here. Softinn will retire the booking engine v4 by 30.April.2026.

New Features

  • BE v5 announcement banner on the dashboard
  • Added notification hub. Hotel receives notification of application-level changes (e.g., a change to the payment gateway).

  • Also show lucky draw banner for hotel that use Collected by You (Payment Gateway).
  • Update lucky draw banner design.

Bug Fixes

FATboy Hotel Kiosk

New Features

  • Support these hotel lock operation modes: card, pin code, and QR code. On top of that, the hotel may choose to issue multiple modes at once. For example, both the room key card and the PIN code are generated upon check-in.

Improvements

  • Added virtual keyboard support to the desktop mode.
  • Whenever the reservation code is not found, the kiosk prompts the user to try with the Booking Confirmation ID instead. This is useful for guests who booked through OTA re-selling (or redistribution).

Bug Fixes

  • Fix a bug that disconnects the Adem door lock encoder whenever it fails to read a card. The encoder remains operational, and a prompt of a missing card will be shown on the UI.

Softinn FATboy now supports a virtual keyboard. It will appear automatically whenever a text input is being focused.

The virtual keyboard will use the choosen color theme as well.
