November is here — the month of reflection, preparation, and finishing the year strong. As 2025 nears its close, our team has been hard at work polishing features, improving performance, and releasing new updates to help you run your hotel operations even more smoothly. Here’s a quick look at what’s new this month.

- Fix a bug that prevents the correct guest departure time from being displayed on the invoice.

FATboy Hotel Kiosk
New Features
- Automatically apply Tourism Tax (TTX) charge to foreign guests.
- Post walk-in reservation to Softinn PMS with tax breakdowns (e.g., SST, service charge, heritage fees, and tourism tax). The kiosk will follow the tax settings on Softinn PMS.
- Support multiple installations on the same PC. This allows hotels to install and run separate instances of FATboy from different folders.
- Added the integration with Sinosecu models – QR4000 and QR1000.
- Kiosk function control. The hotel may turn on/off functions like check-in, check-out, and walk-in.
Improvements
- Improved database backup management. The backup system now creates one backup file per day of the week (e.g., Mon, Tue, Wed, etc.) instead of generating a new file each day. This limits backups to seven rotating copies, helping reduce storage usage on the PC while still maintaining recent backups.

- Update the booking engine and the PMS whenever a room type change (e.g, room status, built unit, etc.) occurs in the Account Portal. The changes in default allotment will trigger a recalculation of the room inventory.
