Reimagined from the ground up, Softinn Task is designed to provide a smoother and more intuitive experience for hotel teams, while also supporting modern operational models such as outsourced housekeeping services.
At the same time, we’re continuing to enhance our Channel Manager with ongoing upgrades focused on improving connectivity, reliability, and day-to-day efficiency for hotel operators. More improvements are on the way as we continue building tools that help hotels run smarter and faster.

- Access rules for Task Module access so only authorized roles can view and manage tasks within the system.
- Introduced V5 file upload and download for Su Channel Manager so the integration supports the latest Su Channel Manager API specification, ensuring continued compatibility.
Improvements
- Introduces the summary activity log for manual cancellations so users can review cancellation history more efficiently without scrolling through excessive records.
- Redirect users to Portal to update room type from the Property Management System (PMS) so changes are managed centrally and reflected accurately across all connected systems.
- Allow proforma invoice to be generated for cancelled subscriptions so finance teams can process refunds or adjustments without manual workarounds.
- Added Refunds to the Journal Entry accounting report so accountants have a complete picture of financial movements, including reversals and refunded transactions.
- Added Folio Number to the AutoCount Journal Entry accounting report so each journal entry can be traced back to its originating document for easier auditing and reconciliation.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the daily cash total calculation for properties in negative time zones (Telztar Suites) to prevent reporting discrepancies and ensure cash summaries are recorded on the correct date regardless of where the property is located.
- Fixed the Booking Source Distribution sales total on the PMS dashboard to prevent incorrect or inflated figures from appearing due to duplicate entries.
- Fixed an issue where payments could not be refunded after a balance transfer to prevent double refunds or incorrect balances when processing post-transfer refunds.
- Fixed an issue where Minimum/Maximum Stay and Closed to Arrival/Departure settings in Quick Update were not visible for properties using a channel manager without PMSxBE Sync, to prevent hoteliers from being unable to set availability restrictions that could lead to incorrect availability on all connected channels.

Booking Engine
The new booking engine is here. This is a preview of the new booking engine. We’ve announced the launch of the hotel-facing UI a few months back. Log in to the booking engine v5 extranet here. Softinn will retire the booking engine v4 by 30.April.2026 31.May.2026 (extended dateline).
New Features
- Added a Booking Engine link for specific room types so hotels can direct guests to a targeted booking page, so guests can conveniently book a specific room category and increasing conversion rates.
- Added a Google Free Booking Links (FBL) link so hotels can direct guests to book via Google, so guests can conveniently complete their booking and increasing conversion rates.
- Added a Generate E-Invoice shortcut in the Tools & Plugins page so users can quickly access the e-invoice generation process without navigating elsewhere.
- Added a Room Type Code column in the Booking List so users can identify room type codes at a glance without opening each individual booking.
Improvements
- Updated the Room Selection and Google Free Booking Links (FBL) interface so the layout is more intuitive and visually consistent, so guests have a smoother and more seamless booking experience.
- Added a Reply-To option in the Booking Amendment Email so guests can reply directly to the sender’s email address instead of a no-reply address, so communication between guests and the property is improved.
- Replaced the outdated phone number in the Booking Receipt so guests are shown an active and reachable contact number, so they can get in touch with the property without any confusion.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the room type description format on the guest booking page so guests are shown correctly formatted information, to prevent incorrect or inconsistent formatting from being displayed during the booking process.
- Fixed the promo code URL not applying the promo code correctly so guests can successfully redeem discounts when accessing the booking page via a promotional link, to prevent guests from being unable to apply their promo code.

Task
We’re also preparing to launch Task, a brand-new tool to help hotel staff manage operations and daily tasks more efficiently. Task is the hub of all hotel tasks (e.g., housekeeping, work orders, etc.).

New Features
- Added a user guide to the user page so users can quickly access onboarding and reference materials directly within the page without navigating elsewhere.
- Integrated notifications in the Portal so users can receive real-time alerts and updates directly within the portal, so they no longer need to switch to external channels.
- Added a new section for Task Module Access Rule in the Manage Roles page so administrators can define and control which roles have access to the Task Module, so access permissions can be managed from one dedicated section.

- Added a Back button to the Edit Payment Gateway page so users can easily exit the edit view without relying on the browser back button or breadcrumbs.
- Replaced the outdated phone number with an updated contact number in the Subscription Invoice and Subscription Receipt PDF templates so subscribers receive invoices and receipts showing a valid and reachable contact number.
- Added a loading indicator while permissions are being loaded so the page feels responsive and intentional rather than appearing unresponsive during the loading process.
