Steps on How to Manage Discounts on Softinn Extranet

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Login to Softinn Extranet.

Step 2 : Select the right property.

Step 3 : Go to “Rate & Availability” and select “Table View“.

Step 4 : To view the row for discount, you can click on the filter and tick “Discount” checkbox. 

Step 5 : Click on the “Quick Update” button or or click on the “Bulk Edit” icon.

Step 6 : Make sure that the setting is set to “Rates”, then set it to “Discount”.

Step 7 : Insert the discount amount either flat rate or percentage and select the date range.

Step 8 : Select “Apply to all days within range” option.

Step 9 : In the Room & Rate Plan section, make sure to choose the correct room type.

Step 10 : After that, select the date range accordingly and “Apply to all days within range” option.

Step 11 : Once done, click on the “Save” button.

You shall see the changes reflected on the Inventory page.

How to Remove Discount for Your Room?

Step 1 : Login to Softinn Extranet.

Step 2 : Select the right property.

Step 3 : Click on “Inventory” to go to the Inventory page

Step 4 : To view the row for discount, click on the filter and tick “Discount” checkbox.

Step 5 : Click on the “Quick Update” button or just click on the “Green Lightning” icon next to the “Discount” for the rates plan of selected room type.

Step 6 : You can either click on the “Quick Update” button or click on the “Bulk Edit” icon of the room type.

Step 7 : Make sure that the setting is set to “Rates”, then set it to “Discount”.

Step 7 : On the discount amount, update the discount to 0%.

Step 8 : Select “Apply to all days within range” option.

Step 9 : In the Room & Rate Plan section, make sure to choose the correct room type.

Step 10 : After that, select the date range accordingly and “Apply to all days within range” option.

You shall see the changes reflected on the Inventory page. The Selling Price now is the same as the room rates.
