By default, Softinn system will create a ‘Best Available Rate’ automatically for you.

Before you start with the room type mapping, make sure you have:

Steps to Setup Rate Plan & Room Mapping for Direct Booking Engine:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Log in to Softinn Extranet.

Step 2 : Select the correct property.

Step 3 : Go to ‘Other Setup’ and then select ‘Rate Plan’ to go to the Rate Plans Setup page.

Step 4 : You shall see the ‘Best Available Rate’ (BAR) on the page.

Step 5 : You may click ‘Edit’ to edit the Rate Plan Name, Rate Plan Code and the cancellation policy attached to this rate plan.

Step 6 : Then, click on ‘Map Room’ to map the room types to this rate plan.

Step 7 : Select ‘Map Room Type’ on the top right corner. Select a room type.

Step 8 : The Rate Code and description will be filled in automatically for you. However, you can still edit them, if needed.

Step 9 : Then, fill in the Base Rate and click ‘Save’ to save the changes.

Step 10 : Repeat the same process to map other room types.

Step 11 : Finally, activate the room type mapping and the rate plan once it’s ready for your guest to book.
