Now, you are able to set up different hotel cancellation policies for your hotel’s Booking Engine (BE). With this flexibility, you could assign different cancellation policies to rate plans and promotions for your hotel’s BE.

Steps to Setup Booking Engine Cancellation Policy on Extranet:
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1: Login to Softinn Extranet
Step 2 : Select the correct property
Step 3 : Click on the “Setup” and then “Cancellation Policy” to go to the Cancellation Policies page
Step 4 : Click on the “Add New” button to add the cancellation policy.
Step 5 : Define and setup booking engine cancellation policy settings.
Step 6 : Click on the “Save Policy” button to save the cancellation policy that you have just set up.
- If you have been our BE user before Quarter 4 of 2022, you will find that, by default, your hotel’s existing cancellation policy will be auto defined as “Default Cancellation Policy”.
- Meanwhile, your existing promotion code will also be auto-applied to the “Default Cancellation Policy”.
- However, if you are a new BE user who comes on board AFTER Quarter 3 of 2022, you will find the Cancellation Policy setup page is empty and you can start to add your own cancellation policy.
Now, you could set up more than one cancellation policy for your Hotel direct Booking Engine in Softinn Extranet 🙂
