Hello Softinn PMS users!

Now, you could add bulk payment to a group reservation on the Manage Group Reservations page in Softinn PMS.

Scenario 1 : Imagine that your guest, Matthew check-in today and he has previously made an Advance Deposit for his group reservation. So, today you will use the Advance Deposit balances to the rooms booked under Matthew’s group reservation.

Steps to Add Bulk Payment using Balances in Advance Deposit:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Go to Softinn PMS

Step 2 : Select the correct property

Step 3 : Go to the Manage Group Reservations page

Step 4 : Firstly, click on the “Bulk action for all rooms” and select the “Add Payment” option.

Step 5 : Next, to transfer the Advance Deposit to the group reservation, toggle the “Use Advance Deposit” button. 

Step 6 : You could insert the amount to transfer

Step 7 : Then, you can add the payment for all rooms or selected rooms.

Step 8 : Once you have confirmed all the information, click on the “Save” button.

Scenario 2 : Imagine that your guest Matthew has arrived at the hotel. Before check-in he has made a payment of RM500 using Debit Card for his group reservation.

Steps to Add Bulk Payment using Debit Card:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Go to Softinn PMS

Step 2 : Select the correct property

Step 3 : Go to the Manage Group Reservations page

Step 4 : Firstly, click on the “Bulk action for all rooms” and select the “Add Payment” option.

Step 5 : You could insert the payment amount and choose the payment method and account

Step 6 : Then, you can choose to apply this payment for “all rooms” or “selected rooms”.

Step 7 : Alternatively, if you would like to overwrite the amount distributed by the system, you can click on “Overwrite paid amount”, and edit the payment amount as you wish.

• However, the total amount edited shall be equal to the total amount inserted at the top of the page.
  But in this scenario, I will not opt for “overwrite”.

Step 8 : Once you have confirmed all the information, click on the “Save” button.
