Now, you could clear folio balance for a group reservation quickly and efficiently in Softinn PMS!
Imagine that Spark Travel Agency has just made a full payment for his group reservation.
Let’s check out this video to learn how to clear folio balance of a group reservation from the Manage Group Reservations page:
Steps to Clear Folio Balance of A Group Reservation in Softinn PMS:
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Go to Softinn PMS
Step 2 : Select the correct property
Step 3 : Go to the Manage Group Reservations page
Step 4 : To record this payment, you could use the “Clear folio balance” function.
Step 5 : If the guest has balances in Advance deposit, you shall be able to transfer the advance deposit balance to the folios.
Step 6 : To do that, toggle the “Use Advance Deposit” button and select the Advance Deposit number. The system will auto fill in the payment amount for you
Step 7 : Alternatively, you may key in any amount by yourself, as long as it is not more than the available balance in the Advance Deposit.
Step 8 : Once you have done with the Use Advance Deposit, system will prompt you the remaining balance of the folio to be cleared
Step 9 : To clear the remaining balance, you could click on the “Add Payment Mode” option.
Step 10 : Then, insert the payment amount and select the correct payment method and account.
Step 11 : After that, you can click on the “Clear Balance” button to complete the action.
