How to Handle the Payment Transaction in Guest Folio when Guest from OTA Made Booking Modification to Extend Stay

Hello Softinn PMS users!

Let’s imagine that Jessica made a booking through Agoda for 1-night stay at your hotel on 11th September 2024. She has made the payment to Agoda too. A week later, she made a booking modification on Agoda to extend the stay by 1 night. The booking modification will be auto-synced into the Softinn PMS.

Steps to Handle the Payment Transaction in Guest Folio when Guest from OTA Made Booking Modification to Extend Stay :


Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Login to Softinn PMS

Step 2 : Select the correct property

Step 3 : Click Reservation

Step 4 : Click on the Folio number to view the guest folio.

Step 5 : Click “Void” to void the initial payment

Step 6 : Fill in the remark and click “Void Transaction”

Step 7 : Then, click on the “Pay” button to add the payment again

Step 8 : Fill in the total amount paid, select the payment method and payment account and lastly click “Add Payment”

You shall see the Folio Balance is now showing RM 0.00.
