You would like to stop ‘synced’ Rate Plan and Availability from Softinn Channel Manager to your OTAs, temporarily or permanently. In this video, you will be able to learn how to do so for your Softinn Channel Manager.

Imagine that you would like to remove the selected Room Rate Plan in OTAs as your Hotel is no longer offering that selected rate plan. Therefore, you’re able to unmap Rates plan from Softinn Channel Manager to the OTAs.
Below are the guidelines on how you can unmap Rates plan from Softinn Channel Manager.
Steps to Unmap Rates Plan :
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Login to Softinn PMS.
Step 2 : Select the correct property
Step 3 : Click ‘Setup‘
Step 4 : Click ‘General‘
Step 5 : Click ‘Booking Source & Connectivity‘
Step 6 : Click ‘Map‘
Step 7 : Click ‘Unmap‘
Step 8 : Once done, you will see the notification ‘Rateplan Unmapped Successfully‘
Note :
- Please make sure that you have also deleted the Rate Plan on the Booking.com Extranet as well
- So, in the future, if your Hotel would like to offer that selected Room Rate Plan, you’ll need to re-map the Room Rate Plan again
Let’s imagine that you would like to temporarily stop ‘synced’ between Softinn Channel Manager to your OTAs, but you do not want to unmap/remove the mapping. Therefore, you can change the status from ‘Active’ to ‘Inactive’.
Before are the guidelines on how you can temporarily deactivate channel mapping in Softinn PMS.
Steps to Temporary Deactivate Channel Mapping :
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Click ‘Map‘
Step 2 : Click ‘key‘ icon
Step 3 : Click Hotel ID
Step 4 : Select the status ‘Inactive‘
Step 5 : Click ‘Save‘
Step 6 : Once done, you will see the notification ‘Channel Successfully Updated‘
Note :
- Once you’re ready to sync Softinn CM to your OTAs again, you can change the status to ‘Active’
Your Hotel has decided to sign out from OTAs for example Agoda & Airbnb. Hence, below are the guidelines on how you could permanently remove the Channel Mapping in Softinn PMS.
Steps to Permanently Remove / Unmap Channels – Agoda :
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Click ‘key‘ icon
Step 2 : Click ‘Remove‘
Step 3 : Click ‘Yes‘
Step 4 : Once done, you’ll see the notification ‘Property has been removed Successfully‘
Steps to Permanently Remove / Unmap Channels – Airbnb:
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Click ‘Map‘
Step 2 : Click the icon for ‘Unmap Listing‘
Step 3 : Click ‘Yes‘
Note :
- When you want to connect to the OTAs again in the future, you’ll need to repeat the whole process for Channel Mapping and Room Mapping
Imagine that your Hotel would like to adjust the Room Rates for all OTAs through Channel Manager. While deciding on the new rates, you do not wish the guest to still book at the old rates from OTAs. To achieve this, you can set ‘Stop Sell’ from Softinn Channel Manager.
Below are the guidelines on how you can temporarily ‘Stop Sell’ from Channel Manager.
Steps to Temporary ‘Stop Sell’ :
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Click ‘Inventory‘
Step 2 : Click ‘Quick Update‘
Step 3 : Select ‘Stop Sell‘
Step 4 : Click ‘On‘
Step 5 : Select the preferred date range & Room Rates
Step 6 : Click ‘Update‘
Note :
- Once you have turned ‘On‘ Stop Sell restrictions, the particular date will be changed to Red color
- After you’ve done updating the Room Rates, you could remove ‘Stop Sell’ restrictions
