Steps to Review & Edit Cancellation Policy on Extranet:


Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1: Login to Softinn Extranet

Step 2 : Select the correct property

Step 3 : Click MORE

Step 4 : Click Property Overview

Step 5 : At the “Cancellation Policy” section, define your cancellation policy/ rules.

  • Default” policy was the one pre-defined by Softinn. It is for a simple and loosen cancellation policy. You may opt-in if you want to
  • Click ‘Advanced‘ if your hotel has a stricter cancellation policy.
  • You can have policy such as: No refund, Partial refund by %, First Night, Full Refund, & No-Show. Define your own.
  • A sample color chart will be illustrated as you define your policies

Step 6: Save changes once done.

  • Your policies will be showing to your guest upon their booking. So, please make sure you log in and update your policies accordingly to avoid unnecessary disputes.

You could set the fixed cancellation fee charged on your guest in Softinn Extranet.

If the booking payment was collected by Softinn, there will be a default fixed cancellation fee charged by Softinn to your guest (i.e RM10 +5% gateway fee)

If your Hotel also requires a fixed cancellation fee from your guest, then you can follow this guide to set up your Hotel’s fixed cancellation fee.

Steps to Review & Edit Fixed Cancellation Fee on Extranet:


Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : On Cancellation Policy setting page, click “Yes

Step 2 : Insert a flat amount for processing fee, if any AND Insert a % for payment gateway fee, if any

Step 3 : Once done, click “Save Changes
