Hello Softinn Extranet user. If you happened to run a Facebook page for your hotel/resort, you will surely be spending long hour replying your FB fans private message. More than often, they are asking you for the availability of your hotel / resort if not how to make booking.

Even if they agree to book, you would very likely go for manual procedures to jot down their name, contact, check-in & check-out date, and any other special request. Then, you would need to follow up for deposit payment for the booking. Worst still, when you mention payment to them, some guests would have just gone quiet. All your effort and time would then be wasted.

We know how painful it is, and so we made you this video on how to install a “Contact Us” button to your FB Page and that saves you from all the manual booking hassles.

Steps to Add “Contact Us” Button On Your FB Page:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1: Login to Softinn Extranet 

Step 2: Go to MORE.

Step 3: Scroll down the page and look for Install to Facebook (Free tool for you!).

Step 4: The steps for installation are listed on the pop-up window (as below). Firstly, copy the URL.

Step 5: Then, go to your FB page, look for the option icon and select “Add Action button” on your right.

Step 6: Select “Contact Us” and select “Add website link“

Step 7: Paste the URL that you copied just now to here.

Step 8: Click “Save“

Step 9: You will see the “Contact Us” button appear on your FB page. Hover your mouse to the “Contact Us” button and try to click “Contact Us” to test out your booking engine.

Steps to Edit “Contact Us” Button On Your FB Page:

Step 1: Click on the options icon and select “Edit action button”.

Step 2: You may replace the current link with a link that you have copied.

Step 3: Once done, click the “Save” button.

Step 4: Now you have successfully updated the “Contact us” button.

Step 5: You may view your page as a guest and try to click on the “Contact us” button.

Step 6: Your Facebook guest can now check the availability and make a booking through your Facebook page directly.

Hence, you could save all the hassle of replying to their PM inquiries regarding the availability of your hotel.

P/S: You could now refer your FB fans to check out the “Contact Us” button on your FB page – and they can check availability there & proceed to make a booking all by themselves. Best still, we will follow up with them for payment!
