How to Increase Bookings through Your Facebook Page?

NOTE: This guide is for Softinn Starter Plan merchant.

Hello Softinn Extranet user. If you happened to run a Facebook page for your hotel/homestay, you will surely be spending long hour replying your FB fans private message. More than often, they are asking you for the availability of your hotel / homestay if not how to make booking.

Even if they agree to book, you would very likely go for manual procedures to jot down their name, contact, check in & check out date, and any other special request. Then, you would need to follow up for deposit payment for the booking. Worst still, when you mention payment to them, some guests would have just gone quiet. All your effort and time would then be wasted.

We know how painful it is, and so we made you this video on how to install a “Book Now” button to your FB Page and that saves you from all the manual booking hassles.

Steps to Add & Edit “Book Now” Button On Your FB Page:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1: Login to Softinn Extranet 

Step 2: Go to MORE.

Step 3: Scroll down the page and look for Install to Facebook (Free tool for you!).

Step 4: The steps for installation are listed on the pop up window (as below). Firstly, copy the URL.

Step 5: Then, go to your FB page, look for the “Add a button” on your right. Click “Add a button.”

Step 6: Select “Book with you” and click “Book Now“. Then Click “Next

Step 7: Click “Link to Website“. Then, paste the URL that you copied just now to here.

Step 8: Click “Save” and then click “Finish“.

Step 9: You will see the “Book Now” button appear on your FB page. Hover your mouse to the “Book Now” button and then click on “Test button” to test making a booking.

P/S: You could now refer your FB fans to check out the “Book Now” button on your FB page – and they can check availability there & proceed to make a booking all by themselves. Best still, we will follow up with them for payment!

NOTE: Once a guest has confirmed the booking by payment, we would notify you in email & SMS.
