How to Configure Permission For The Existing Roles to Access Softinn Task

Hello Softinn Portal Users!

You can now configure permissions for existing roles to access the Softinn Task.

Scenario: Imagine that a hotel wants to give the LodgeOwner role access to the Task Housekeeper module.

Let’s check out this video to find out how to configure permissions for existing roles to access the Softinn Task.


Firstly, login to Softinn Portal and select the correct property.

Click on the ‘Users’ tab, then go to the ‘Manage Users’ tab.

Check the role assigned to the user.

Once you know which role to edit, go to the ‘Manage Roles’ tab.

Find the LodgeOwner role, click the action button, and click ‘Edit Role’.

On the ‘Manage Roles’ settings page, select ‘Task’ from the Product list.

Tick the boxes for the permissions you wish to grant access to, then click ‘Save’.

Once done, login to the Softinn Task page as LodgeOwner and select the correct property.

Verify that you can access the permissions that were granted on the Softinn Portal earlier.
