Hello Softinn PMS & Softinn Channel Manager subscriber!

After the setup of Room Type & Rate Plan is completed, you can proceed with the Channel Mapping and Room Mapping in Softinn PMS.

Before you start to map Softinn Channel Manager to OTAs, please make sure that you have :

1. Completed setup the Room Type and Rate Plan in Softinn PMS
2. Completed your OTAs listing for your property

Softinn Channel Manager is connected to 100 over OTAs. The mapping process will be different for each OTAs.

In this guide, we will show how you could proceed with the channel mapping to MG Jarvis.

Steps to do Channel Mapping for MG Jarvis on Softinn PMS:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Go to Softinn PMS

Step 2 : Select the right property

Step 3 : Go to ‘Setup‘ & click ‘General‘

Step 4 : Click ‘Booking Source & Connectivity‘

You will see ‘Channel Mapping’ if you’re Softinn Channel Manager subscriber.

Mapping with MG Jarvis:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Search for MG Jarvis.

Step 2 : You may refer to the Mapping Guide by clicking the ‘Mapping Guide’ button

Step 3 : Before you start to do the channel mapping, reach out to your MG Jarvis Market Manager (whom the hotel signed the contract with) and request to enable ‘STAAH’ as channel manager.

Note :

• At the moment, Softinn is leveraging the technical platform of MG Jarvis-Staah in channel connectivity.
• Hence, when you contact your MG Jarvis Market Manager, please mention ‘STAAH’ as your connectivity partner.
• Your MG Jarvis Market Manager will revert to inform you on the connectivity status and provide the MG Jarvis ID to you.

Step 4 : Go to  Softinn PMS to setup Channel Mapping and Room Mapping

Step 5 : Insert your MG Jarvis ID that you received from your MG Jarvis Market Manager.

Step 6 : Select the currency. It must be the same currency you set in MG Jarvis.

Step 7 : Select the Room type that you sell on MG Jarvis.

Step 8 : Put the status ‘Inactive’ until you’ve done the room mapping

Step 9 : Select Rate either Net or Sell

Step 10 : Then, select the Room Type that you sell on MG Jarvis.

Step 11 : Click ‘Save‘

Channel mapping with MG Jarvis is successfully done!

Step 12 : Next, you need to do Room Mapping, click ‘Map’

Step 13 : Select the rate plan that you sell on MG Jarvis.

Step 14 : Select the PMS Rate Plan

• Select the same rate plan with MG Jarvis account

Step 15 : Select the no. of guest

• Make sure the info you update here is the same as MG Jarvis account

Step 15 : Click ‘Save‘

Room Mapping with MG Jarvis is successfully done!

Important Notes:

• Before you flush the information to MG Jarvis, change the status from ‘Inactive‘ to ‘Active‘ first on the Channel Connection Detail page.
• After the status was turned to ‘Active‘, all the availability and rate plans in Softinn Channel Manager will be pushed to MG Jarvis.
• The information will be flushed to MG Jarvis within 2-3 minutes
