Knowing the importance of hoteliers to implement a hotel direct booking strategy, Softinn had organized a mini-workshop specifically for hoteliers in Langkawi on 19th February 2019 at De Baron Resort.
It was a fruitful two-way discussion between Softinn and the hoteliers representative on how they can pay less to OTAs by implementing #DirectBooking strategy. Some of the strategies discussed were:

- Demand and Revenue Management
- Variable Pricing and Dynamic Pricing impact on Revenue
Among the hoteliers that benefited from this sharing session were:

- Goldsands Langkawi
- Camar Resort Langkawi, just to name a few
Although more hoteliers are now starting to see the importance of implementing a direct booking strategy for their hotels, there are still quite a number of hoteliers relying heavily on the use of OTAs having no clue as to why they need to strategize.
Knowing this, we are gonna continue sharing on Direct Booking strategy to as many hoteliers out there. Thus, we’re pleased to announce that our upcoming hoteliers meet-up destination is Pulau Perhentian! We will be at Perhentian Island Resort on 2 April 2019.
