Grow Big in 2020: Optimizing Your Hotel’s Online Distribution @ Malacca

Thank you to all that had taken time to attend our sharing on Hotel Direct Booking Strategy & Digital Marketing Strategy for Hotel that was held on January 15th, 2020 at Dreambase Coworking, Malacca.

Softinn’s Grow Big in 2020 event aims to provide hoteliers to gain insights into the latest hotel tech trends to better strategize their hotel growth in the year 2020.

Speakers line-up included Bryan Pong, founder of Wavelike Technologies and Yu Peng Chiang from Softinn Solutions.

Yu Peng Chiang started his sharing with some insights particularly related to hotel direct booking strategy. Coming from an IT background, he has a strong dedication to understanding hoteliers’ pain points so that Softinn Solutions can continuously invent products that can solve these pain points.

Bryan Pong started his career with big names in e-commerce including Zalora and Carlist. Having a vast experience in digital marketing, he shared digital marketing tips that hotels can implement particularly on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

It was a fruitful sharing session between Softinn and the hotels’ representatives. Although more hoteliers are now starting to realize the importance of implementing a direct booking strategy for their hotels, there are still quite a number of hoteliers relying heavily on the use of Online Travel Agents (OTAs), having no clue as to why they need to strategize.

Knowing this, Softinn will continue sharing on how to optimize the hotel’s online distribution to as many hoteliers out there.
