Even though it is slightly late, Happy New Year! Let’s welcome 2021 with more product updates. We are very thrilled to share with you what’s new in this release.
We finally roll out one of the highly requested features. Financial Reports are now available on Softinn PMS. Three types of reports are included in this release:
- Advance Deposit Ledger
- Guest Ledger
- Transaction Journal
These reports are accessible through the “Report” link in the menu. More financial reports will be released in the future!
In order to support Financial Reports, we added “Account Code” to Payment Methods and Products & Services in PMS. You can now specify the account code for each payment method and payment account, as well as your products and services accordingly. These can be done in the setup pages.
The account codes will be used to represent the respective item in the finance reports. Default account codes are added for System Default payment methods and products but you can edit the codes according to your need.
Another update for PMS users. We updated our Housekeeping Module. Now, you can choose to auto-generate cleaning tasks upon guest check-outs. We added another cleaning task status – “Prep” to indicate that the room needs to be prepped for guest to check in. In addition to that, we updated housekeepers’ view to allow them to view their tasks easily. Housekeepers can also view other cleaning tasks available.
