Hello Softinn Task user!
On Softinn Task you are able to record starting and ending time for each housekeeping task that you assigned to.
Check out the video and guidelines below to find out how to start and end cleaning a housekeeping task in Softinn Task
Firstly, login to Softinn Task and select the correct property.
On the home page, you can view the housekeeper dashboard. It will show the number of My Tasks, Unassigned Tasks, and All Tasks for today’s date.
For the ‘My Tasks’ list, to start recording the cleaning start time, click the action button on the selected task and click ‘Start Cleaning’
After cleaning the room, click ‘End Cleaning’ to record the cleaning end time.
Alternatively, you can click ‘Mark As Completed’ to complete the task right away.
Note: If you use ‘Mark As Completed’, the Start Time and End Time will not be recorded.
For the ‘Unassigned Tasks’ list, you can claim an available task by clicking the action button and then clicking ‘Claim Task’. Once claimed, the task will move under ‘My Tasks’.
For the ‘All Tasks’ list, you can view every task for the property, and you can also start cleaning, end cleaning, or claim a task directly from this page. Once claimed, the task will move under ‘My Tasks’.
Scenario: Room D003 has a Do Not Disturb sign at the door.
The housekeeper must click the action button on the room’s task and click ‘Mark as Do Not Disturb’.
Once the room is ready to be cleaned, click ‘Mark as Dirty’ before starting the room cleaning.
To view more information about a task, click on the ‘Action’ button and select the ‘View Details’ button on the selected task.
It displays the Room Type and No., Priority, Task Date, Start Time and End Time, and also Remarks.
