Hello Softinn PMS and Softinn BE subscribers!

You could map BE rate plan mapping with the PMS rate plan in Softinn PMS so that the bookings received from BE that were synced into Softinn PMS will have the correct rate plan name attached to it.

With the Rate Plan Mapping setup in the “PMS x BE Sync Settings” page:

1. Every booking received from BE that was synced into Softinn PMS will be attached to the correct rate plan name that you have mapped;
2. You may choose to control the update of the daily rate of the BE rate plan from PMS; and
3. You may choose to control the rate plan restriction such as “Stop Sell” from the PMS.

Steps to Map BE Rate Plan with PMS Rate Plan in Softinn PMS:

Step 1: Login to your PMS Account

Before you do the mapping, make sure you have created a rate plan for BE in PMS first. In this example, I have created a “Non-Refundable Rate” in PMS for my Booking Engine channel. You may refer to this video guide on how to create a rate plan in Softinn PMS.

Step 2: To do the rate plan mapping, navigate to “Setup”, then select “All Setup”, and look for “PMS x BE Sync Settings”

Here’s the section for Rate Plan Mapping. If you have not set up the rate plan mapping, the system will highlight how many BE’s rate plans that has not been mapped in PMS.

Step 3: Click on the “Map Rate Plan” button to start the mapping. 

Step 4: Then, select the PMS rate plan that you would like to map to the BE’s rate plan. In this example, I choose “Non-Refundable Rate”. And then, select the rate plan of BE. In this example, it is “Non-Refundable Rate”.

Before you proceed to save the changes, you have the option to choose if you would like to control the update of rate plan rates and restrictions, from PMS to BE or not. 

If you enable these syncs, changes in the rate plan rates and restrictions will have to be controlled from Softinn PMS. And any changes in the rates and restrictions of the rate plan in PMS would be synced to the Softinn BE Inventory page. 

Step 5: Once you are set, click on the “Add Mapping” button to save the changes. 

Step 6: Make sure the status of the mapping is “Active”.

After you have activated the mapping,  the Softinn BE reservation that was automatically pushed into Softinn PMS will be attached to the correct rate plan name. This can be seen on the guest folio of the booking.

If you enabled to “Sync Daily Rates” and control the rates update from Softinn PMS, any changes on the rate plan’s daily rate for Softinn BE rate plan will need to be updated on the PMS Inventory page. Then, the rates will sync to BE Inventory page instantly. 

In this example, I updated Garden Chalet from RM200 to RM250 for 12th July 2023 on the Softinn PMS Inventory page. These changes also will be reflected on Softinn BE Inventory page. 

Last but not least, if you enabled “Sync Restrictions” to control rate plan restrictions from Softinn PMS, any changes on the restriction for Softinn BE rate plan will need to be updated on the PMS Inventory page also. With that, the restriction updated in PMS will be synced to BE Inventory page instantly. 

In this example, I updated the “Stop Sell” restriction for the “Non-Refundable Rate” for King Bed Room from 11th – 13th July 2023 on the Softinn PMS Inventory page. These changes also will be reflected in Softinn BE Inventory page.
