On the FATboy Kiosk, you can manually trigger a credit card terminal settlement whenever you need funds processed more quickly.
Scenario: Imagine you need funds settled sooner than the scheduled automatic run — for example, ahead of a holiday weekend or a specific payroll run — so you manually trigger a settlement before the bank’s daily processing deadline.
Let’s check out this video to find out how to perform a settlement using the FATboy Kiosk.
Step 1: Log in to Admin Mode on the Kiosk.
Step 2: Select the Credit Card button.
Step 3: Choose the Settlement button.
Step 4: Select the “Get Settlement” button.
Step 5: The credit card terminal will trigger the settlement and show whether it was successful or failed.
Step 6: Once done, return the Kiosk to the Home Page.
Note: To ensure daily reconciliation, the FATboy Kiosk automatically settles all credit card transactions every night at 3:15 AM.
