Guest not satisfied with the room? OR, Guest request to change or upgrade room?
Don’t worry, Softinn PMS user! Updating the changes or upgrade of room for a guest with just a few clicks in Softinn PMS.

Steps to Update Change/Upgrade of Room for A Guest in PMS:
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Go to https://booking.mysoftinn.com/pms and login to PMS.
Step 2 : Click “Reservation”.
Step 3 : After you have found the reservation that you want to make amendment, click the “Edit” icon.
Step 4 : In the room type column, choose the other room type that you want to change. You also can change the room number of guest only in the room number column.
Step 5 : Once done, scroll to the bottom. Click “Save Reservation”.
Step 6 : Click “Yes.Update it!” and “OK”. The reservation of guest has been updated. You can see the room number has changed at the reservation.
Step 7 : If the guest has upgraded his room, remember to record the room upgrade’s charges. Click “Folio” icon.
Step 8 : Click “Misc./others”.
Step 9 : Select “Charges” as item type and fill in the total amount of charges.
Step 10 : Click “Add Remark” and then type in “Room Upgrade”.
Step 11 : Click “Add Miscellaneous”, “Yes, add it!” and “OK”. The upgrade charges incurred by guest has been recorded.
Step 12 : Once the upgrade payment has been made, record the payment. Click “Add Payment”.
Step 13 : Fill in the total amount of charges. Choose the payment method & account.
**NOTE: Corporate account – guest paid to online travel agent (OTA)
**NOTE: Internet account – guest paid by online banking
Step 14 : Click “Add Remark” and then type in “Room Upgrade”.
Step 15 : Click “Save Payment”, “Yes,add it” and “OK”. The payment has been recorded.
