Don’t worry, updating and upgrading room for a guest are with just a few clicks in Softinn PMS.

Steps to Edit Guest Folio for Change of Room Types:
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Go to Softinn PMS
Step 2 : Select the right property
Step 3 : Go to “RESERVATION” tab, find the reservation that you want to make amendment, Click ‘Guest Folio‘
Step 4 : Click ‘Reservation No.‘
Step 5 : On the reservation form, change the Room Type and select the Room Number, accordingly.
Step 6: If the change of Room Types result in different room charges, update the Room Charges to follow the new room’s price charges. Click ‘Save Reservation‘.
Step 7 : Click ‘Go to Guest Folio‘. You shall see system had automatically posted a “Reversal” of Room Charges to the initial room type.
Step 8 : Proceed to click ‘Refund‘ to refund the initial room type payment.
- Insert the required payment details and click ‘Refund‘
Step 9 : Then, click ‘Add Payment‘ button for the newly updated room type
- Tick on the Room Charges
- Select the required payment details
- Click ‘Save Payment‘
- You will not be able to check-out the guest if there is any “Open” Charges that have not added payment to.
Room type upgrading in Guest Folio is made easy with Softinn PMS 🙂
