Hello Softinn PMS users!
Note : You can only update the rates for reservations with the status New, Arrival, Checked-in, or Departure.
Scenario : A guest has checked out, but you later realize the room rate or taxes are incorrect. The reservation need to be reinstated in order to update the rate.

Steps to Update Rates for Guests Who
Have Already Checked Out in Softinn
PMS :
Follow the guidelines below :
Step 1: Go to the Reservation main page.
Step 2: Navigate to the reservation that you would like to update.
Step 3: Click on the Option button.
Step 4: Then, click on the “Reinstate Status” button.
Note: You need to reinstate the reservation status to departure to proceed.
Step 5: Click on the Option button again.
Step 6: Click on the “Update Rates” button.
Step 7: Navigate to the Rates and Taxes section.
Step 8: Update the new rate for each night as needed.
Step 9: You can select taxes and additional charges if applicable too.
Step 10 : You may also change to another rate plan if needed.
Step 11 : Once done, click on the Save button.
The charges has been updated accordingly.
Step 12 : Click on the folio number to view the folio details.
Step 13 : The folio now has an outstanding value due to the rates update.
You need to clear the outstanding value before proceed to check out the guest.
Step 14 : Click on the “Pay” button to add payment for the outstanding charges.
Step 15 : Enter the outstanding charges amount.
Step 16 : Select the payment method.
Step 17 : Choose the payment account.
Step 18 : Once done, click on the “Add Payment” button.
Step 19 : The folio now has no outstanding charges.
Proceed to check out the guest.
Step 20 : Click on the “Check-Out” button.
Step 21 : Click on the “Edit & Check-out” button.
Step 22 : Enter the correct date and check-out time.
Step 23 : Then, click on the “Apply” button to save.
Step 24 : Once done, click on the “Proceed to Check-out” button.
The reservation now has been successfully checked-out.
