Hello Softinn Channel Manager subscriber!
As a Softinn Channel Manager subscriber, all the booking received from OTAs will be auto pushed to Softinn PMS “Reservation” page. Hotel Front Desk only needs to assign a room number to those bookings that are pushed from OTAs to Softinn PMS.
However, sometimes OTAs may NOT push a complete booking information to Softinn PMS. And that triggers the Unmapped Booking Alert in Sotinn PMS.
More than often, the alert was due to the missing “Room Type” information that the guest booked in OTA.
Imagine your Hotel Front Desk sees an “Unmapped Booking” alert on Softinn PMS “Reservation” page.

Steps to do When There is an Unmapped Booking Alert on Reservation Page:
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Go to Softinn PMS
Step 2 : Select the correct property
Step 3 : Click “Reservation”
Step 4 : On the “RESERVATION” page, the “Unmapped Booking” alert is in the RED color button.
- Click the Red button
Step 5 : The reservation from OTA which is with missing “Room Type” information will be listed on the page
Step 6 : Check the booking email you received from the OTA to obtain the room type information that the guest has booked
Step 7 : Insert the “Room Type” in the Softinn PMS Reservation Form
Step 8 : Next, assign a room number to this reservation
Step 9 : Click “Save Reservation”
