Hello Softinn Task Users!
On Softinn Task, Front Desk users can get an overview of all maintenance tasks on the Maintenance List page.
Scenario: You’re a front desk officer who wants to check on outstanding maintenance tasks and make an edit to one of them.
Let’s check out this video to find out how to use the Maintenance List page in the Front Desk Module.
Step 1: Log in to Softinn Task and select the correct property.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Front Desk’ tab and click on ‘Maintenance List’.
Step 3: At the top of the page, you’ll see a summary of task counts by status: Open, Abandoned, and Completed.
Note: The colored dots next to each location in the list also indicate additional statuses, such as Dirty/Prep/Cleaning, CI/CO on the same day, Guest in Room, and Do Not Disturb.
Step 4: You can toggle ‘Show Status Dots’ on or off, depending on whether you want these indicators displayed in the list.
Step 5: Below the summary, all maintenance tasks are listed in a table, showing the Priority, Status, Image, Description, Assignee, Location, Date Reported, and Date Completed for each task.
Step 6: You can use the search bar to look for a specific task, or click the filter icon to narrow down the list further.
Step 7: To create a new task, click the ‘Create Maintenance Task’ button.
Step 8: To manage a specific task, click the ‘Actions’ button on that task’s row.
Step 9: From here, you can click ‘Edit’ to make changes to the task, or ‘Delete’ to remove it.
Step 10: Going back to our scenario, click ‘Edit’ on the task for ‘103 Executive Room’ to open the ‘Edit Task’ pop-up.
Step 11: Here, you can update the Photo, Description, choose to Close Room, Status, Priority, and Assignee.
Step 12: Once done, click ‘Save’ to save the changes.
