How to Group Your Properties on PMS

Hello, Softinn PMS users. Do you manage multiple properties of hotel or homestay? Managing each property reservation separately can be daunting especially when you have more than 2 properties. Managing them by group through Softinn PMS can help you to save more time and you can have a great big-picture view of how all of your properties are currently running.

With the Grouping Properties feature on Softinn PMS, you will be able to view properties reservation, keep track of booking schedule calendar and other property management features of PMS for many properties but at one-page view.

Steps to Group Properties on Softinn PMS:


Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Login to Softinn PMS

Step 2 : Click on your “Email ID” on the top right of the page.

Step 3 : Click “Group Your Property”.

Step 4 : Click “Add New Group”.

Step 5 : Insert the name of your hotels or homestays groupings.

Step 6 : Select the properties you’d like to group.

Step 7 : Then click “Save Changes“. The properties group will appear in the list.

PART 2: How to Use PMS for Your Property Group

Step 1: After you login to Softinn PMS , on the top right corner of the homepage, click on your “Email ID”, followed by clicking “Group Your Property”.

Step 2: Click the “Action” button to activate your Property Group setup on PMS. 

Step 3: Click “Property Name”.

Step 4: Select your Property Group Name. 

Step 5: Click “Home”. PMS Features will now show your grouped properties as a drop-down list.

Example 1: Creating Reservation

Step 1: Click “Create Reservation”

Step 2: Click “Choose Property”.

Step 3: You can select the property in your Property Group from this drop-down list.

Example 2: Calendar feature

Step 1: Click “Calendar”. You can view the Calendar for all of your properties in the group in ONE page.

Your grouped property will appear as a drop-down list for “Inventory” and “Setup” features as well.

Example 3: “Payment Method” Setup

Step 1: You can view/edit “Payment Method” for each property by choosing them from the drop-down list.
