Steps to Close & Reopen Multiple Rooms for Maintenance or Cleaning in PMS:
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Login to Softinn PMS: https://booking.mysoftinn.com/pms
Step 2 : Select the right property
Step 3 : Click on the “CALENDAR”.
Step 4 : Then, click “Close Room”.
Step 5 : Choose the duration of the closing for the room. You can set the time for the closing of room that you want. Once done, click “Apply”.
Step 6 : After that, choose the room type, room number and allocation type. There are “Maintenance”and “Cleaning” available for allocation type.
Step 7 : Once done, click “Save changes”, “Yes.Update it!” and “OK”.
Step 8 : The allocation for the room has been added. The specific date for the room will appear a blue colour “CLEANING” at the column. If you allocated the room for maintenance, the column will appear “MAINTENANCE” in grey colour.
Step 9 : Then, click “ROOM” and select “Room Status”.
Step 10 : Click on the room that you has closed. At the right side, the room status will show a “Cleaning” or “Maintenance” icon and state the date of closing.
When the maintenance or cleaning has been completed, reopen the room so it will be ready to be assigned to your guests.
Step 11: To reopen a room, you need to click “CALENDAR” again. Double click on the “CLEANING” or “MAINTENANCE” mark at the room that you want to reopen. Click “Remove allocation” and click “Yes.Remove it!”. Click “OK”.
Step 12 : The allocation of room has been removed. The blue colour “CLEANING” mark and grey colour “will disappear on the calendar.
