How to Define Guest Folio Check-out Setting Rules in Softinn PMS

Hello Softinn PMS users! Softinn PMS has added a new feature for check-out settings.

These features are useful to:

  1. Prevent Front Desk Officer from checking out a guest without collection outstanding balance from the guest, OR
  2. Returning refundable security deposit to the guest

Steps Set the Check-out Settings on Softinn PMS:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Go to Softinn PMS

Step 2 : Select the right property

Step 3 : Click ‘MORE

Step 4 : Click ‘Setup

Step 5 : Click ‘General

Step 6 : Click ‘General Settings

Step 7 : Find ‘Check-out Settings’.  You can tick on your preferred settings for your Hotel.

  • 1st setting: Every security deposit must have a receipt
  • 2nd setting: Every security deposit must be refunded
  • 3rd setting: All payments must have a receipt
  • 4th setting: All charges must be paid in full and folio balance must be zero
  • 5th setting: Generate an invoice upon check-out
  • 6th: Allow to edit folio after check-out

Step 8 : Tick the box to select the settings

Step 9 : Scroll up and click ‘Save Changes’
