Steps to Add New Reservation for Walk-In Guest in PMS:
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Go to https://booking.mysoftinn.com/pms and login to PMS.
Step 2 : At “HOME” page, click on the “Create Reservation” that showed in orange colour.
Step 3 : You also can click “Reservation” at the panel to add new reservation. Click “Add New Reservation”.
Step 4 : Fill in the new reservation details.
Step 5 : In the booking source column, choose “Walk in” as booking source. Fill in the number of children and comments of guest if any.
Step 6 : Remember to click on “New” after you type in the new guest name. Or you can choose from the existing guest list if the guest booked before.
Step 7 : Once you have finished fill up all the guest information and total charge of booking, click “Save Reservation”.
Step 8 : Click “Yes,add it!” and “OK”. The new reservation had been added successfully. The status of reservation will show “New” in red colour.
Step 9 : If the guest paid upon check-in, record down the payment of booking. Click “Folio” icon of the reservation.
Step 10 : Then, click “Add Payment” and fill in the amount of payment. Choose payment method & payment account of walk-in guest.
**NOTE: Payment account refers to certain types of payment method which guest paid with.
Eg. Cash – cash on hand
Step 11 : Click “Add Remark” and type in remark at the column.
Step 12 : Once done, click “Save Payment”, “Yes,add it!” and “OK”.
Step 13 : From the folio transaction, you can see the payment transaction has been added. You can edit or delete the payment by clicking the arrow beside “Refund” button.
