Hello Softinn PMS user!
Imagine that your Hotel has received a group tour reservation. During the check-in process, one of the guest’s requests to upgrade the room to another room type.

Steps to Edit Room Type for 1 Reservation Under a Group Reservation in PMS :
Follow the guidelines below:
Step 1 : Login to Softinn PMS
Step 2 : Select the correct property
Step 3 : Click on the “RESERVATION”
Step 4 : Click on the “Edit” icon to edit the room type
Step 5 : On the “Room Tab” make sure the highlighted tab is the room type that you want to edit
Step 6 : Edit the room type and assign the room number
Step 7 : Update the room charges accordingly
Step 8 : Click on the “Update Room Details” button
Step 9 : Click on the “Save Reservation” button
Step 10 : The changes will be reflected on the Guest Folio. Click on the “Folio” icon
Step 11 : You will see the room charge for the new room type will be showing on the folio
- When you click “Show reversed and voided transactions“, you will see the charges for the previous room type have been reversed.
