Hello Softinn PMS user!

Let’s imagine your hotel have a checked-in guest for a group tour reservation for 2 units of Villa Room & 1 unit of Queen Bed Room.

During their stay, one of the guests subscribed to a Spa service on her own in your Hotel. This Spa cost will NOT be covered by the tour company.

As such, you’ll need to split the Spa charges from the Room charges for this guest folio. You could do so by transferring the room charges to another folio under the same Group Reservation while keeping the Spa charges remains where it is.

Steps to Transfers Folio Items From One Folio to Another in Softinn PMS:

Follow the guidelines below:

Step 1 : Go to Softinn PMS

Step 2 : Select the correct property

Step 3 : Click ‘Reservation‘

Step 4 : The reservation status will show as ‘Checked-In‘

Step 5 : Let’s say the guest in the Queen Bed Room go to the Spa session

Step 6 : Click ‘Folio‘ to add the Spa charges for Queen Bed Room

Step 7 : To add Spa charges, click ‘Misc. / Others‘ button

• On ‘Item Type’ select the Spa & Massage
• Select the correct item for Spa Charges
• Ensure the charge amount is correct
• Tick the box for taxes, if applicable
• Once done, click ‘Add Charge’

Step 8 : To split the charges, let’s move folio items & related payment for Queen Bed Room to Folio Villa Room

Step 9 : Click ‘Move‘

Step 10 : Select the right Folio Number that you want to move this Room charges & payment for Queen Bed Room

Step 11 : Once confirmed, click ‘Move Transaction’ button

Room charges of Queen Bed Room have successfully been transferred out from the folio and hence the folio is not left only with Spa Charges.

Note:

• You can only move the folio items among the guest folios that are within the same Group Reservation
